The gapless UNICORE® cores have loss up to 20-40% lower than conventional coils (coiled and then cut), which results in lower magnetizing current and reduced idle losses of transformers. In addition, thanks to a fully automated production process, they allow to design the transformer and optimize its parameters to the actual needs of the customer.
